Essential tips...

Using a personal device

Students are able to complete schoolwork on personal computers, tablets, and even phones! However, they must be signed in to their school account and have syncing turned on for whatever device they're using. This avoids issues with missing accounts and improperly saved work.

Rebooting your device

The first step for troubleshooting what's wrong with your Chromebook will almost always be to reboot it. Be sure to hold down the refresh and power keys together to do a hard reset of your chromebook and see if your problem persists!

Common issues

My Classlink says it's "not connected" when I try to log in...

This is due to a student's Classlink account not being linked to their school Google account. You can head to the Classlink login page by clicking the home button and still sign in manually using their username and password. From there, they can connect their account in the sign-in options underneath their profile settings.

Where can I find the link for a teacher's WebEx sessions?

This will vary per teacher, but generally the link will be available inside a teacher's Google Classroom either inside their stream or labeled on their "classwork" tab. Additionally, through Classlink you can reach the WebEx Portal app where students can see a list for any scheduled class sessions they're a part of.
