Welcome to Lancaster Alternative Virtual Academy; I am Mr. Wood your very proud principal. LAVA is a unique K-8 School of Choice where students are empowered to become self-driven learners and set the P.A.C.E. to becoming confident advocates for their own education.
As a community-based, independent study school, we focus on developing the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated and caring staff are not only experienced and dependable but also truly passionate about supporting each student’s individual journey.
